  I finally wanted to try out Lorena's after hearing about how great and cheap the haircuts were for years. I was recommended to ask for "Keni." I'm glad I tried it out because I will never be returning. This was a terrible haircut. Keni chopped off way more than I asked for, even after multiple warnings. In under 5 minutes, she hacked away at my hair, leaving a mess. Her technique was sloppy. My layers are choppy and uneven. After consulting these reviews and chatting with mutuals, it seems like I'm one of many victims.

  You update: 2026 Lorena continues to be the only hair dresser I go to!! Love her for many many years. 💝 My hair is straight now, short, and I got highlights. I love it. I have dreadlocks in my hair which were done at another place, but i still come to Lorena when I need my hair colored or cut. The last time I went to this salon she used a toner in my hair and the color turned out really nice. I have been to many hair salons and this is the only place I will trust with my hair. Lorena is very detailed and asks specific questions when doing my hair, I have never had an issue. She has many years of experience and if she can work on a person w dreadlocks then she can do it all. Everyone at the salon is very nice and you can tell they are passionate about their work. I would recommend this place to anyone! I Love Lorena's beauty salon! The photos I posted are in no particular order.

  Lorena did my hair I,Asked for a balayage… they are far from knowing what that is. She reassured she knew the pattern it consists of and the technique needed. Results were horrible. Nothing was blended like it should have. She had to redo the whole process over in the same sitting to correct the mistakes. And another hairdresser thought putting her 2cents in would be a good idea, She Started telling Lorena that she should have charged double the price of what she gave me “infront of me” very unprofessional and cheap way to act infront of paying customers especially when I didn’t even ask for a discount to begin with. She gave me a price and I said ok sounds good. Never coming back to this place and I will be telling everybody to never come here. Rude hairdressers and just under qualified.

  If you want one of the best cut and colors, this is the place to go. Estrellia and her daughter, were so awesome to be around and made me feel right at home. And one of the best cuts, and prettiest colors I have had in a long time!
